we had a rare case of tolosa hunt syndrome in our hospital. it is actually caused due to inflammation of nerves near cavernous sinus or sup. orbital fissure leading to 3, 4, 5 and 6 Cranial Nerve palsies. but we had a varient of it. hello members! Though i m not an otorhinolaringologist ,I hv some clinical queries. We prescribe nasal corticosteroid sprays to rx allergic rhinitis pts. Does it decrease local immunity and predispose pts to ent infections? For how long is it safe to use nasal corticosteroid sprays?
