can any one tell me y ulcer caused by pseudomonas is called as hypopyon ulcer where as in almost all typer of corneal ulcer hypopyon is formed......plsss xplain tom me im unable to understand

Permalink Reply by SRIDHARAN SAI RAGHAVENDRAN on October 1, 2013 at 12:01am its customary to reserve the term 'Hypopyon ulcer" for the characteristic ulcer caused by Pneumococcus and the term " Corneal ulcers with hypopyon" due to other organisms such as Staph.,streptococcus etc .
