hello there..hope u r fine..! if a pt.is having glaucoma in one eye then sometimes it becomes necessary to do peripheral iridectomy in sound eye depends on conditions...and mail me abt ur treatment regime which u r following ok..bye..take good care!

hello,well prognosis of glaucoma depends on optic disc changes and field changes..also some part of prognosis lies on level of iop of the eye which is affected...if the field changes have started in a patient then prognosis is very bad and difficult to control..in the initial stages when iop is raised and there r no disc and visual field changes then prognosis is good..
