depends on the psychiatric illness....schizophrenia is very different to depression....plz be a bit more specific ....

ok a 31 yr old lady married 3 yeras before. she is a known case of paranoid schiz on treatment, at the time of marriage she is in remission. after she atopped the drug now she had symptoms for the past 6 months . she had one year old son. her husbend in the court of law regarding this marriage . what to do.........

Hello.
Tough topic going on here.
But IMHO, pre-marital, if they have difficulty taking care of themselves, just imagine what's in store FOR the partner later. I aint against marriage of the mentally ill, but the partner do need to be informed and counselled, pre-marital, preferrably.

What do the others think?

hi there quite a topic u hav there
schizic pt hav attacks which may b agressive.they start blabing wateva cumes in their head n can b dangerous for da child plus they rarley trust anyone.i think if husband is not wilin to continue da mariage he shudnt b forced or shud b counsel REALY REALY in an awesome way
