a doctor should have self respect , dignity and humanity . and a lot others but these are the most important.

integraty,humility,introspective,analytic,introspective/reflective,repsctful of others ,curiosity,wnating to be better,persistence,short andlong range perspective ,love of learning and family not just patients,balance life

should not lose temper ... more often coz of workload dr. tends to get frustrated espacially when working in goverment setup .

As far as India is concern if you are GP (General Pratics) then you have nack to get commission from the Lab various consulating Doctors Hospital etc and if you are running your own hospital then you are willing to share up to 50% of your bill to the GP or refering doctors In India Pt is not important. Important is the commission How you can prep the Generic mediciane which MRP is higher but wholesale price is less that pharmacopia you must know If you have all these Quality then you can be a good doctor in India

know basic scienses like Math, Chem, Biology , Phys then basic medical scienses like anatomy ,Histology so on and at last clinical scienses. The most important is to have ability to feel what patient is feeling.
