started this thread to discuss the better books for each speaciality in medicine viz cardio,nephro,liver, etc and what all topics are given beautifully since no one can possibly read them cover to cover
inviting suggestions from all the members...

hi harpreet! Harrison's is basically a little bit about everything; but for further reading, here are some of the references we usually use:

Nephro - Brenner & Rector's The Kidney
Cardio - Braunwald's Heart Disease
Liver- Sleisenger's Gastrointestinal & Liver Disease

harrison s good, but at the pg level but i thought it wont be enough so asked.
any particular suggestion for practical medicine-viz procedures,cases ,vignettes?
